Application of high oxygen analyzer in oxygen-enriched combustion boilers
Release time: 2023-07-22
Combustion using oxygen-enriched air with a higher oxygen concentration than normal air (21% oxygen) is called oxygen-enriched combustion.
It is a highly efficient and energy-saving combustion technology, applied in boiler energy saving, glass industry, metallurgy industry and thermal engineering fields. The purpose of oxygen-enriched combustion is to ensure complete fuel combustion and effectively utilize the generated heat. The combustion process is critically related to boiler efficiency. Combustion is caused by high-energy collisions between combustible molecules in the fuel and oxygen molecules; therefore, the oxygen supply determines whether the combustion process is complete. In conventional air-assisted combustion systems, this high-energy collision is hindered by nitrogen molecules, which constitute nearly four-fifths of the air and do not assist combustion, reducing the chances of collisions between oxygen molecules and combustible molecules in the fuel, directly affecting the improvement of combustion efficiency. Furthermore, nitrogen absorbs a large amount of heat in the boiler and discharges it in the exhaust gas, causing heat loss and wasting energy.
Therefore, controlling the oxygen content is crucial in oxygen-enriched combustion. For this application, we have developed a high-oxygen analyzer with a measurement range of 20.6-100% and an accuracy of 0.5%. The high-oxygen analyzer also uses the zirconia principle. High-concentration zirconia oxygen analyzer.
